Job Announcement Data: When you paste or fetch a job announcement, that text is processed to extract requirements for matching against your resume.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Square. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information on our servers.

Veteran Verification Documents: If you submit a DD-214 or VA Letter for veteran discount verification, this document is used solely to verify your discharge status and is not retained after verification is complete.

Usage Data: We collect anonymized analytics data including pages visited, features used, and general geographic region to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our resume optimization service
• To process your payments through Square
• To send you magic link sign-in emails

• To improve our AI prompts and service quality (using anonymized, aggregated data only)

4. Data Retention

Resume session data is automatically deleted after 30 days. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us. Account information (email, subscription status) is retained while your account is active. Veteran verification documents are deleted immediately after verification is complete.

5. AI Processing

Your resume and job announcement data are processed using the Anthropic Claude API. Per Anthropic's API terms, data submitted through the API is not used to train AI models. Your data is processed in real-time and is not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the API request.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Encryption at rest for stored data
• Secure, passwordless authentication via magic links
• PCI-compliant payment processing through Square

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
